Alkaline Trio (sometimes abbreviated as "Alk3") is an American punk rock band from Elgin, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, consisting of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums, backing vocals). To date, the band have released six studio albums.
