Avenues is a punk rock quartet from Milwaukee, Wisconsin which originally formed in 2006.
Avenues have played countless shows across the United States and internationally, also have participated in well-known festivals such as Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Veags, Envol Et Macadam in Québec City, Canada, and Pouzza Fest in Montreal. They have shared the stage with notable punk acts, Rise Against, Buzzcocks, Bigwig, Bob Mould, Masked Intruder, Strung Out, 88 Fingers Louie, Guttermouth, Pulley, Red City Radio, Teenage Bottlerocket, Less Than Jake, The Lillingtons and many more.
In the fall of 2011, Avenues headed west to Los Angeles, California to record their EP "NOHO" with Grammy nominated producer/engineer Davey Rieley at godaveygo studio. With that album the band signed a publishing deal with Los Angeles, CA based Gas Can Music and then were added to the roaster of Chicago, IL based Stayposi Records in which they released "Postcards From Ann Arbor," in 2013.
Avenues released "Creep Show," in April 2015. Later in August 2015 re-released the EP on 10" vinyl with 2 bonus songs, Hipster 101 and THRASHER via Los Angeles, CA based indie label Wiretap Records. The bands last two albums were both recorded at Atlas Studio in Chicago, IL with well know punk producer Matt Allison, know for recording such acts as, (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms, Rise Against and Masked Intruder).
