Classics of Love Bio:
Classics of Love is a newish band from the Bay Area of Northern California featuring Jesse from Operation Ivy and Max, Mike and Morgan from San Jose's The Hard Girls. Mike also plays with Shinobu while Max and Morgan are veterans of Pteradon. The band, which started in November of '09, plays basic, classic punk rock with a variety of influences including but not limited to Rites of Spring, Stiff Little Fingers, The Who, The Clash, Wire, RFTC, Marginal Man,The Observers, The Red Dons, Elvis Costello, Articles of Faith and other hardcore bands of the early eighties era, Blondie, Husker Du, Leatherface, and on and on and on. Our goal is to remain inspired by the bands we love but to create something NEW and DIFFERENT if at all possible. We do this by trying to write good songs and trusting in the natural creative urge to find it's own form. In our first seven months we have recorded a six song ep, played the Bay Area and completed a tour of the U.K. The E.P. is called "Walking in Shadows" and is available on Asian Man records. Our next step is to write and record a full-length. In the mean time we are having a lot of fun playing shows and hope to see you soon. Much gratitude to everybody who has helped us and/or supported us so far, we have had a lot of wonderful assistance and we never take it for granted.

I love it…..a bit of a new edge with alot of old school punk for flavor..very nice if I do say so myself.
