OC45 got its unofficial start on the mean streets of the University of New Hampshire back in the spring of 2010, under the moniker Old Crow and the 45's. After a few weird shows, the band went on hiatus from September 2010 until July 2011. During this time, the band was active in writing new material and planning their "comeback," all while undergoing a name change facilitated by the fine legal professionals representing Old Crow Medicine Show.
Over the past year, OC45 has evolved from an absolutely horrible Boston punk band to a halfway decent (by some standards) Boston punk band. They have played 130+ shows, toured the entire United States, self-released their debut full-length, and are now kicking out their cables far less than they used to. Album #2, "When It Hits" is currently in the works.
