The Dangits Bio:
A Dallas/Ft. Worth based band, I think they claim Tarant County as home base just because they feel the west side love. Mike, Branden and Mark are leftovers from random 90\'s Dallas based touring bands REO SPEEDEALER, RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS, THE HELLIONS, THE SOUP, PUMPIN\' ETHYL as well as Mark spending several years recording and touring with MINISTRY which garnered him a Grammy nomination. The latest addition to the line up is Ben Silver on Bass who joined in January 2011. Ben was in the too short lived Zombie Shark Attack and is currently holding down bass duties in Convoy and the Cattleman. The Dangits have been together since January 2009 with a few lineup changes within that time. They consider themselves to be just a little local band playing for shits and the occasional free pitcher of beer. Just 4 months out of the gate they won BEST NEW ARTIST 2009 from The Fort Worth Weekly to everyones dismay. In 2010 they were nominated for BEST ROCK SONG in The Weekly with \"The Equalizer\" from their debut record \"Greatest Hits Vol. I\". What do they sound like? Not sure, but they go good with The Dwarves, Turbonegro , Zeke, The Stooges, The Hookers... you get the idea.
