What Hands Are For Bio:

What Hands are For is a So Cal indie punk band started in 2006. Since their beginning they have played with such acts as The Sleeping, Heavy Heavy Low Low, From First to Last and Lorene Drive, and broken 4 basses (and 5 bass amps), 10 mic stands, 39 cymbals, 0 guitars and countless hearts ;) Tracks from their first self released EP “Loud Ass” have been played on LA’s “World Famous KROQ" and the IE’s X103.9. WHAF has played over 300 shows ranging from back yard parties complete with nachos, to REAL venues such as Pomona’s Glasshouse and LA’s Viper Room (neither of which provided nachos). They also booked their own tour covering the west coast from LA to Seattle. They are currently recording their next EP “Please Believe Me” set for release early 2010.
