Reprise Records

Reprise Records Bio:

Reprise Records is an American record label, owned by Warner Music Group, operated through Warner Bros. Records. Reprise was originally formed in 1960 by Frank Sinatra in order to allow more artistic freedom for his own recordings. Fellow Rat Pack members Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr. also moved to the label. Stand up comedian Redd Foxx also recorded for the label during its fledgling years. Reprise was sold to Warner Bros. Records in early 1963. In the time since, Warner Bros. has often treated Reprise as a bit of a secondary parent label, as many of its subsidiary labels have had their records released in conjunction with Reprise. Today it is home to such artists as Neil Young, Green Day, The Network, Josh Groban and My Chemical Romance. In the late 1970s, Joni Mitchell and Captain Beefheart having left the label, Sinatra expressed a wish to be the sole artiste on Reprise - but Neil Young refused to leave.

I wonder if there is any way to get a defective CD replaced under
warranty? I received a copy of “The Road to Escondido” # 44812 as a gift for Christmas and do not have a receipt. The CD starts skipping on track #2 and the CD player will eventually stop altogether. The CD will play all the other tracks and does not appear damaged or scratched. I have tried cleaning the CD to no avail. The CD does the same thing on two different CD players. Eric Clapton and J.J. Cale are and have been two of my favorite artists, so having this CD be defective is very disappointing. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
