I’m faded on Fireball.
That Against Me! song has always struck me more as being about Laura’s alcoholic grandfather, and her grandmother’s reaction to his death, and not so much about drinking. Not exactly a tale to get a buzz on to.
Another great against me! song to drink to is how low…ironically, another very depressing song

“Too Drunk To F**k” Dead Kennedys. “Somebody Put Something In My Drink” by the Ramones. “Drink Tonight” Street Dogs. “Wonder Beer” Naked Raygun. “Who Spilt My Beer” The Adicts. “Six Pack” Black Flag. “Blood and Whiskey” Dropkick Murphys. “Drunken Lullabies” Flogging Molly. “More Beer” Fear. “Absinthe” The Damned.
Those would be my ten off the top of my head.
Okay I really love that new Street Dogs tune but to leave out both their Tobe has a Drinking Problem and Dropkick Murphys’ Barroom Heroes (both sung by Mike McColgan) makes absolutely no sense and as a side note — in light of Tobe Bean III ‘s departure from SD I wonder if we have heard the last of “Tobe…” being played live?
