A Week In Punk: This Week’s Biggest Stories Recapped (11/10/13)

As shameful as it is, some of you readers don’t actually check Dying Scene every hour of every day.  For you slackers we’ve put together a list of last week’s biggest stories to help you stay in the loop and maintain your punk cred. You’re welcome.

1. Fat Mike from NOFX was detained by airport security after he called a fellow passenger a sissy. What a tattle tale.

2. Punk Goes 8-Bit is the compilation that refuses to die. A third volume was just released for free download.

3. Black Flag streamed their new album. Has anyone listened to this?

4. Bad Religion explained why they re-recorded one of their biggest hits.

5. Blink 182 announced the support acts for their whopping FIVE anniversary shows.

6. Title Fight streamed their Spring Songs EP and it is so awesome, you guys.

7. Jersey natives, The Obvious have signed to Altercation Records.

8. The Lawrence Arms left Fat Wreck Chords for Epitaph. What a  love triangle!

9. We gave Less Than Jake’s new album FIVE STARS! WHOOAAAA!

10. And A Day To Remember only got four stars. Cue the sad trombone.

Those were just some of the most read stories from last week, but there were plenty more little gems covered.  Let us know what what you loved, what you hated and what your personal favorite story was in the comments. If you just can’t get enough of us, follow Dying Scene on Twitter, kick it with us on Facebook and join the Dying Scene mailing list
