Against Me!‘s Laura Jane Grace’s struggles with gender identity and somewhat recent coming out as a transgender woman have unquestionably been the most transcendent stories from the punk rock scene over the last several years (aside, maybe, from the Pussy Riot saga). Laura Jane recently sat down with TIME Magazine for a feature piece for their current issue. LJG reflects on what, by all accounts, was a triumphant 2014, while looking forward to keeping up a similar pace in 2015 – “This is how I felt when I was 19. It’s terrifying and thrilling. The world is new and unknown.”
