Amuse working on new album with producer Mass Giorgini

For those of you that remember Indiana pop-punk act Amuse you’ll be glad to hear that after slowing down to a full stop 3 years ago a spark has reignited the band after playing with hometown legends Squirtgun in Lafayette Indiana. Since then the band has recruited new drummer Keith Tajc and is now running on all cylinders.

In April Amuse is hitting the studio with producer Mass Giorgini at Sonic Iguana Studios. This time around the band is trading in their nostalgic early 2000s pop punk sound for more of a “skate punk” vibe to reflect the music they’re listening to more of now (Descendants,Screeching Weasel, Teenage Bottlerocket). No word on a release date yet but we’ll keep you posted.

Amuse last released “Love Songs For Your Dad” in September of 2012.
