Remember how Andrew W.K. said he planned to attempt to drum for 24 hours consecutive hours on June 19th at O Music’s Live Music Day Festival? Well, like a true champion, the party machine did it! He drummed his ass off and set the world record for “Longest Drumming Set in a Retail Store.” He had the following to say afterwards:
“Every emotion and every feeling from the most excited and happy to the most — I don’t wanna ever say I was sad, but in severe pain — like real physical pain. I didn’t anticipate that at all. I actually never got tired because there was so much adrenaline and so many people that were especially giving so much energy. It really felt like a team effort.”
