Anti-Flag stream new song “Close My Eyes”

Pittsburgh punk veterans Anti-Flag are streaming a new track titled “Close My Eyes,” taken from the final installment in their 20 Years of Hell 7-inch series. Here’s what Chris #2 had to say about the song:

“‘Close My Eyes’ is a really personal track to me. I wanted to interject the things that have happened in my life and to my loved ones into this song. The Trayvon Martin case floored me. I had so much empathy for his family, having lost my sister to violent crime and then a subsequent very questionable trial and not guilty verdict. My distrust of American justice was once again put in front of me. This song is commentary on all of that.”

You can give the track a listen below, and if you haven’t already picked up the 20 Years of Hell 7-inch set, you can do so right here.

Anti-Flag released a career-spanning double album titled A Document of Dissent on July 22nd through Fat Wreck Chords, and their latest full-length The General Strike came out in 2012 on SideOneDummy Records.
