Yes, I know Deftones are not a punk rock band, but during their performance at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore, Maryland last Friday (October 26th), Bad Brains frontman H.R. joined them onstage while performing the songs “Engine No. 9″ and “Bored” (both from Deftones’ 1995 debut album Adrenaline). They also performed a cover version of the Bad Brains classic “Right Brigade”

Bad Brains will release their new studio album Into the Future on November 20th on Megaforce Records. It’s the the follow-up to 2007′s Build a Nation, their first after a 12-year hiatus. Last month, the band streamed the new album’s title track. Deftones are also releasing a new album, Koi No Yokan, on November 13th, a week before the new Bad Brains record.
