Bad Ideas streams new single, “Give Up”

U.K.-based emo/punk quartet Bad Ideas has a new single out called “Give Up,” and you can check it out below.  This is the band’s first release since The Better Parts of You came out on Paper + Plastick Records back in 2014.

Singer Sam Cook describes the inspiration behind the song:

“I started last year in pretty bad shape and was living between friends houses as I moved back from Leeds to our home town, Lincoln.  After New Year’s celebrations had petered out, I was sat in our bassist’s lounge feeling rough in many ways, and wrote what became ‘Give Up’, helping me to draw a kind of mental line under things.”

It’s nice to see something good come out of shitty circumstances, isn’t it?  Bad Ideas is also touring Holland, Belgium, and Germany this March.  You can find more info on that here.
