Pretty much everyone is familiar with the huge success of the SXSW festivals, but not many people may have heard of the Canadian version, in the form of NXNE (North by Northeast (contra to South by Southwest (very clever those Canucks))).
The festival has been taking place in Toronto each June for the past 18 years, and is continuing to grow.
This year it was announced that punk rock legends Bad Religion will be one of the headliners.
A specific date and venue have not been detailed as of yet, but it has been announced that The Flaming Lips, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Matthew Good will be sharing the headlining role with Bad Religion.
Each year hundreds of musical acts play in over 50 venues around the city for NXNE, so make sure to head to their official site for more information.
