Children of Terror come from Malang, Indonesia and do not fuck around. They were formed in 2006 and have released a demo (2008), a full-length album titled “Retrospective” (2016) and an EP titled “Kaliyuga” this year. The core of their music consists of all the classic hardcore elements i.e. agressiveness, mid-tempo rhythms and earth-shattering breakdowns. Their lyrical themes revolve around inner struggle, depression, humanity, spirituality, philosophy and hardcore attitude and pride.
Children of Terror’s latest offering, “Kaliyuga”, was released last September and it’s a turnpoint for the band’s sound progress, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences, from grindcore/powerviolence to sludge, without losing their identity. You can check it out below.
