As I Lay Dying will be heading int the studio next month with producer Bill Stevenson to begin work on their follow-up to last year’s “The Powerless Rise.”  Stevenson, who played drums for Black Flag and Descendents has become perhaps more well known as late for his album producing, working with bands like Rise Against, NOFX, Propagandhi, The Casualties, and Anti-Flag to name just a few.

As I Lay Dying’s last studio album The Powerless Rise was released on Metal Blade Records. Their most recent release is the compilation album Decas, which surfaced last November.
