Boston punk bassist releases rap album?!

Yeah, you read that right.  The Old Edison‘s bassist and vocalist, Squallie Greenthumb, has put together a 5-track rap album as a way to raise funds while out of work on disability.  Although The Old Edison specializes in stripped-down folk punk, Squallie’s love of rap music led him to create this name-your-price release.

His disclaimer:  “I’m neither a rapper nor an engineer, so this has been a learning experience if nothing else.”   Why not give it a listen?  You can do so right here.
