Pop group Breathe Carolina have premiered their cover of the late Michael Jackson’s hit, “Billie Jean.” Check it out here.
The song will appear on the upcoming “Punk Goes Pop 5″ compilation, the newest in the series from Fearless Records, and is due out November 6th.

Much The Same bassist Franky Tsoukalas and guitarist Dan O'Gorman, both primary songwriters in their former band, have started a new punk band with Franky taking the lead vocal role as well. They're called Burn Rebuild and you can stream the band's first demo song, "My Therapy Is Failing" right here.
This whole “Punk goes Pop” comps just needs to stop. First off, the majority of the bands on these comps pretty much sound like regular pop bands and really walk the fine line of punk. I personally don’t consider them punk bands at all, but that is subjective. But now they have regular Pop bands covering other regular Pop acts and still calling it PUNK goes Pop? Am I missing something here?
