Carjacker passes on jacking 6’5″ Fletcher Dragge

Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge was out for a morning drive on Wednesday when he found himself in the middle of a car chase. Police were tailing a suspected carjacker in a gray Scion and the chase was coming directly at him.

Fletcher told Easy Reader News, “I thought I should get out of the way, so I crossed the double yellow to make a U-turn. But my truck is so long I got stuck, blocking the two northbound lanes”.

Soon after, a squad car performed a PIT maneuver on the suspect’s car, causing it to spin out of control and stop 10 feet from Dragge’s truck. Fletcher said, “It looked like he was reaching for the driver side door handle and I thought for a moment he was coming for my truck. But if he was, he changed his mind when we made eye contact”.

So why did the carjacker, who was described as a “small, Hispanic male in his early 20s”, decide to move along? Maybe he was a huge Pennywise fan and didn’t want to ruin his favorite guitarist’s morning drive. Or maybe he was scared shitless when he realized the truck he was about to jack had a 6’5″, 300 pound man behind the steering wheel.

We’re going to go ahead and assume the former.
