Ok friends, you better sit down for this one. The lead singer of Chiodos, Craig Owens, has been kicked out of the band after 8 years of holding the mic. The guys will not give us a reason as to why they’ve decided to let him go, but they claim it was “necessary”. Prior to this decision, Chiodos was in the process of writing a new album and the band has stated they will absolutely be continuing on as a band. Can the band make it without their charismatic front-man? I guess we’ll find out.

To all of our friends, family, and fans: We would like to let you know that
we have let Craig Owens go as the singer of Chiodos. This decision was a
necessary one. Out of respect for all of the hard work that we have put in
together for all of these years we will not be discussing the specific
reasons that this needed to happen. We wish Craig well . We will absolutely
be continuing on as a band and we will keep you informed as this next
chapter unfolds. Chiodos fans are the best fans in the world and all we can
ask of you, after everything you have already given us, is to share in our
excitement for this next album. We promise you will not be

HOLY SHIT. there had always been rumors that he was a prima donna and din’t get along with the other members. but you have to wonder what will happen to Chiodos now tho… the other guys are amazing musicians, but Craig was really the Front Man.
tomC- I agree. The rest of the band members are absolutely incredible, no doubt about it, and Chiodos would have never even existed if it hadn’t of been for them. But lets be honest- Craig MADE Chiodos. His vocals are so unique and original that it makes him impossible not to recognize. It really makes me wonder what they are gonna sound like post-Owens… among other things.
