San Francisco punk stalwarts Civil War Rust have finished recording a new 6-song EP to follow-up their phenomenal 2012 album “The Fun and the Lonely.” Here’s what guitarist Ryan Banks had to say about the currently-untitled EP:
“We’ve been playing all the songs live over the last year and we are very excited to hear how they sound after mixing. Once we get them back we’ll figure out how we plan to release them, and we will let you know when to expect to hear some new jams!
Really pumped on releasing an acoustic song, always love the simple raw feel that brings. Of course we all can’t wait to get back in and record that song electric and see how that sounds as well!”
We’ll keep you posted as more details on the EP, which will feature five full-band tracks and one acoustic song, are revealed by the band. For the time being, you west coasters can find details on the band’s upcoming spring tour below.
