Corrosion of Conformity preparing to record new album

Legendary punk/heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity have announced that they are about to begin recording a new record. Vocalist/bassist Mike Dean comments:

“We took time out from writing and recording to play Chile for the first time. We had a blast hanging out with Down. Of course, Pepper played a couple of songs with us and I got to listen to Jimmy Bower and Pat Bruders sing Eagles songs for the entire flight back to the States.

We picked up some rented gear in Los Angeles and drove through the desert to start the Danzig tour in Las Vegas. Things have been rolling since then and it has been really good travels. Denver and Albuquerque were particularly awesome. Austin was great too.”

C.O.C. last released their self-titled eighth studio album and the Megalodon EP, which were both released last year.
