“Early Days” of Green Day documentary in the works

Not content with having a measly two documentaries under their belt, Green Day has put up a calling card to fans everywhere asking for any material (specifically videos, photos, or show flyers)  related to the band circa 1987 to 1993. You can check out the ad that the band tweeted right above.

If you have any material that meets the criteria, you can email: greendayearlydaysdocumentary@gmail.com.

Green Day released a trilogy of albums, ¡Uno!,¡Dos! and ¡Tré!, late last year on Reprise Records. More recently the band has released two documentaries, Broadway Idiot, which chronicles the band’s album American Idiot as it turned into Broadway show, and ¡Quatro!, which takes a look at the band’s time in the studio as they recorded their trilogy. Front-man Billie Joe Armstrong will also be co-releasing an album of Everly Brothers covers with contemporary jazz pianist Norah Jones.
