Ellesmere (skate punk) recording new “faster and harder” EP

Good news skate punk fans!  Vancouver’s Ellesmere have announced that they’ll be heading into the studio on May 8th to record 4 new tracks for an upcoming EP.  As for what fans can expect from the new material here’s a couple interesting tidbits from the band:

“We’ll be keeping our flow for the next album so it ties in with the last EP, but stepping up our game a bit in all respects,” says drummer Jordan.  Singer Kurt Anderson adds, “The new tunes will be overall faster and harder but still melodic and catchy.  One song can actually get played right after ‘Man Horse’ as a continuation of the last riff.”

Sounds aces to me!

For those of you somehow not in the know, Ellesmere released their debut EP “Bail City” in December 2013 through Dying Scene Records.  It was very well received by any punk who considered themselves a fan of “Punk In Drublic” and if that piques your interest you can stream it here.
