Fat Mike offers fan $100 to leave show in Halifax

A recent bout of stage banter during one of NOFX‘s sets is now making its rounds around the internet. The video was shot at the Fat Wrecked for 25 Years show in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the 3rd Canadian stop on the tour. It starts off with the band’s routine stage antics up until about the 1:45 mark, where frontman Fat Mike and guitarist El Hefe spot and call out a seemingly uninterested and unimpressed audience member. During their less-than-a-minute rant the two berate the man’s tie dye shirt, beard, and refer to him as a hipster. The charade ends with Fat Mike giving the man $20 for his shirt, which he kicks away right before starting their set with “60%” – as per tradition. You can take a look at the video below.

What do you think of this video? Harmless jokes or do you think they were serious?

Fat Wreck Chords is celebrating 25 years in a big way this year, with a loaded lineup for the Fat Wrecked For 25 Years Tour. Watch the announcement and check out the dates here.
