Felony Records announce “Do Each Other” 7″ series, stream first two tracks

California based punk label Felony Records have announced that they will start a 7″ instalment called Do Each Other. Essentially, this involves two bands covering each other’s songs – “doing” each other’s tunes. The idea comes from SoCal punks Strike Twelve, who pitched the idea to the label a few months ago. After giving it the OK, Felony Records has gotten Strike Twelve and LA’s Margate to take part in the first volume of the series. On this one, Margate cover “Daddy’s Little Girl” and “Toilet”, both of which appear on Strike Twelve’s 2012 album Moonshine. The guys in Strike Twelve cover “Control” off of Margate’s 2011 EP Rock N’ Roll Reserve, and “Finish The Game” off Margate’s 2012 self-titled album.

You can listen to two of the songs below. The full digital stream will be available on April 20th, 2016 with the physical vinyl coming in early June.

Margate’s latest release Beards In Paradise was released on June 30, 2015 via Cyber Track Records. Strike Twelve’s most recent album, Moonshine, was released November 24, 2012 via Felony Records.
