Veteran Celtic punks, Flatfoot 56 just released an incredible video for their uber-stripped down version of the fan-favorite “Cain” from the new EP The Vancouver Sessions If you’ve heard the original version, which premiered on the epic LP Jungle of the Midwest Sea released back in ’07, you’re probably not even going to recognize this one. It’s far more mellow and has a fantastically folksy, rustic sound to it. When we asked frontman Tobin Bawinkel about the new video, he told us: “(It) was a blast to shoot. We shot it on a Sunday afternoon in about three hours. A whole group of us carried all our gear into a local forest preserve and proceeded to get as dirty as we could. We were a site for all the people walking by as we slapped each other with mud. We loved the way the video turned out. The producer (Jordan Saylor from JLS Collective) did a great job editing it up. We hope you enjoy it as well.” So, check it out below!
