This past Wednesday (May 9th), Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly did his first solo performance at Gunners Run in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can check out the video him performing one of the band’s well-known songs “Understanding in a Car Crash” here. That song is taken from their 2001 classic Full Collapse (see the cover on the left).
Thursday announced their split last November, just seven months after they released their last album No Devolucion on Epitaph.
Much The Same bassist Franky Tsoukalas and guitarist Dan O'Gorman, both primary songwriters in their former band, have started a new punk band with Franky taking the lead vocal role as well. They're called Burn Rebuild and you can stream the band's first demo song, "My Therapy Is Failing" right here.
