Goldfinger drops off Slam Dunk line up

Bad news UK ska punk fans. It seems as if Goldfinger has dropped off both the Slam Dunk Festival and the Slam Dunk Ska Punk Tour due to an unnamed member needing a minor surgery. The Slam Dunk Fest promoters released a statement regarding the line up change:

“It is with deep regret we have to announce the withdrawal from the festival by our old friends Goldfinger. One of the members has had to have some routine minor surgery and the recovery process has taken a little longer than expected. This has made travel and performing impossible so they had no choice but to pull out of the festival and the tour around it.

We are sure you will agree Goldfinger cannot be simply replaced, so the festival bill we be reworked and another band will be added where appropriate. We will announce this shortly.

As for the tour… the shows will be replaced by Zebrahead headline shows, with the exception of Norwich which unfortunately has been cancelled. Existing ticket holders should contact their ticket provider for details of getting a partial refund and still going to the show or getting a full refund.

We are as bummed about this as you guys, but stick with us for an update in the near future!

– Ben & Jd”

The rest of the line up remains unchanged as of now. In case you want to see who else is playing both the festival and the tour, you can check here and here respectively.
