Do your summer plans feel lacking? Have you considered going to a festival at an abandoned prison in Ohio? If so, you may want to consider the inaugural Inkarceration Music and Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, Ohio. The 30+ bands include Rise Against, Suicidal Tendencies, A Day to Remember, Clutch, Black Label Society, and, stay with me here, because shit’s about to get real, Alien Ant Farm, Fuel, and Lit.
Besides the bands on two stages, the festival will include more than 70 tattoo booths, prison tours, RV camping (bring your folks! Or hey, bring your kids!), and a sideshow. It should be noted that this is the prison Shawshank Redemption was filmed in. If you’re lucky, maybe Tim Robbins will show up and crawl through a tube of shit. I can’t really think of a better way to close out a festival.
