Interview: Joe Queer talks solo album, Ben Weasel side project, Hopeless vs. Asian Man Records and more

Two-thirds of New Hampshire’s pop punk act The Queers sat down with the guys from BlankTV for a really great interview about upcoming releases, the CBGB movie, getting screwed by Hopeless Records, The Ramones and writing novels.

Spoiler alert: Joe Queer is apparently working on a solo album and a side-project with Ben Weasel and he’s writing a book. Also, The Queers plan to re-record their Hopeless Records albums “Beyond the Valley of the Assfuckers” and “Punk Rock Confidential” and reissue them on Asian Man Records!

Oh, there’s also a quick snippet of the band performing “See You Later Fuckface” live at Tesco Fest in Detroit – you guys can try to spot me in the clip.

The Queers will be heading back on tour next month with The Copyrights, and The Kingons. The band last released “Back To The Basement” in 2010 through Asian Man Records.
