Today marks the first anniversary of the day AFI released their latest album Burials, which was their first album in four years. In a recent interview, AFI guitarist Jade Puget was asked if the band has started working on their next album yet, he replied:
“Yeah, a little bit. We’re actually in the process of doing a new Blaqk Audio record right now. We’re pretty far along with that so once that’s done, we’ll move back to AFI.”
Puget’s new project XTRMST (which features his AFI bandmate Davey Havok) will be releasing their self-titled debut album on November 18, 2014 through Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records.
