Dying Scene
Bassist Jesse Buglione from the band Lagwagon has decided to quit the band in order to spend more time with his 3 year old son. Between recording and touring, Buglione says that he missed a lot of crucial time in his son’s life and that, among a few other factors, has motivated him to leave.

It is debatable but Melbourne has for a long time positioned itself as the music and cultural hub of Australia. Once upon a time, on a walk from a train station in the cities south east, friends, Ryan and Morgan bumped into each other and Backyard Surgeons started to form. It took time but finally the band recruited the drums, bass and second guitar and got working. The final result is no bullshit, no whining, no holds barred guitar driven melodic punk rock that doesn’t come with a complaining nature like many of their counterparts. It’s take it or leave it. With songs that are simple yet catchy but still offer up that punch-in-the-guts riffage that many forego. If you want all that bleeding heart bullshit out of your punk rock then head on over to their MySpace page for a listen because this band is criminally underrated.
