Two years ago, Kenny Livingston, drummer for California pop punk rockers Sugarcult, pedaled his three-speed beach cruiser from Hermosa Beach, CA, to Washington DC in the name of getting people to get off the couch and to change how they view their own health and nutrition. Now he’s getting geared up (pun obviously intended) again.
Later this summer, Livingston will embark on the jaunt that he entitles “Kenny Do It?”, this time pushing his pedals from Hermosa Beach to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. He’ll be documenting his journey and meeting up with people to inspire them to become “the good kind of crazy.”
Livingston has put up a Kickstarter page to try to make the 2012 version of Kenny Do It? a reality. It includes a video composed of daily clips from the 2010 ride. Click here to check it out.
