Things seem to be moving along pretty well for Quicksand, who originally called it quits in 1995. The band reunited for some shows in 1998, and again in 2012. Last January, they embarked on their first tour in 15 years, which featured support from Title Fight, and will be playing more shows this summer and fall, including this year’s Riot Fest.
Quicksand performed live at Slim’s in San Francisco last Wednesday (June 26th), and Converse has posted a video of the band performing “Fazer”, the opening track from their 1993 classic debut album Slip. Go here to see the clip.
Quicksand released their last studio album Manic Compression in 1995, but keep your fingers crossed for new music from the band.
