UK punk/hardcore band Lower Than Atlantis have announced that they will be going on a headlining tour of the UK in December of this year. The tour is scheduled for 7 dates including appearances at Slam Dunk and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. This run of shows will be the group’s final round of dates in support of their 2014 self titled album – their most successful release to date. Supporting bands and full lineups remain unknown but for now, check out the list of dates as well as a statement from singer Mike Duce below. Tickets for this tour will go on a pre-sale this Wednesday, May 27th at 9AM and to the general public on Friday, May 29th at 9AM.
Lower Than Atlantis was released in 2014 via Sony Music Entertainment and served as a follow-up to their 2012 album Changing Tune, which was released on Island Records.
“We can’t wait to play our biggest tour EVER!” says singer Mike Duce. “This has been our most successful album to date and these shows will feel more like parties around the UK celebrating a stellar year. They’ll be our last UK shows on this album and we have some great supports ready to announce after a certain festival in August… The last tour sold out WELL in advance so don’t miss out!”
