It’s been approximately ten months since Millencolin released their last record True Brew, but guitarist Erik Ohlsson recently spoke to Punktastic about the band’s plans for their next album, which they will likely begin work on after they finish touring in support of True Brew early next year. He states:
“We’re booking shows for the fall right now and we’ll probably go on touring for this album until early 2017. Then we’ll have to focus on new material, I guess. I can’t do artwork on tour or work on a new album so we definitely need a break sometime to do that.”
Released last April, True Brew was Millencolin’s first studio album since 2008’s Machine 15. Later this month, the band will release the EP True Brew, which will include two previously unreleased tracks on it as well as a Swedish version of “True Brew”.
