Max Bemis isn’t the only entrepreneurial musician willing to whore out his song writing prowess for an extra buck. Ohio’s Mixtapes are jumping in the game as well, opening a song shop of their own, but for significantly cheaper. They sounded the idea on their facebook a couple days ago:
So i was thinking of doing this song shop thing like the dude from Say Anything except instead of 150 bucks you pay us 10 bucks I’ll write an acoustic ditty about whatever you want and you’ll get the song and instead of a phone call from me, I’m just gonna have one of my random friends call you, anyone into this idea?
Looks like the Mixtapes shop will be officially open on Monday and Dying Scene plans on being one of their first customers. Stay tuned.
