Oops, we’re a bit late on this one. Just days after releasing their third full length album, New York’s Moving Mountains released a statement that the band will be entering a hiatus once they finish their current bout of tour dates. Here’s what the band had to say:
“We’re happy to announce that we’ll be playing three shows this fall in support of our new record with our friends in Caravela, This Old Ghost, and Field Mouse. […] These will likely to be the last Moving Mountains shows for the foreseeable future. Over the years, we’ve been insanely fortunate enough to have the support of such a tight knit fanbase, and we can’t thank you enough for providing an outlet for the music we’ve created. We’re all planning to pursue other artistic endeavors and look forward to sharing those with you. Thank you for sharing our music, and sharing this entire experience with us. See you this fall.”
Moving Mountains released Moving Mountains on September 10th via Triple Crown Records.
