Music Video: Desaparecidos – “City on the Hill” off upcoming album “Payola”

Omaha, Nebraska’s Desaparecidos, the post-hardcore/punk project of Conor Oberst (of Bright Eyes fame), will release its first album in 13 years on June 23rd titled “Payola” through Epitaph Records. The album will feature Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! and the So So Glos as well as many previously released tracks such as “MariKKKopa”, “Backsell”, “Anonymous”, “The Left Is Right,” “Te Amo Camila Vallejo,” and “The Underground Man”.

Today, the band has released a new music video for their song “City on the Hill” which appears on the upcoming album, which you can check out below.

Desaparecidos formed in 2001 but disbanded after the release of their first album, “Read Music/Speak Spanish” as Conor’s other band, Bright Eyes, was experiencing overwhelming success, to which he couldn’t give ample attention to the band.
