Music Video: Doubtfire – “California”

Pop punk act Doubtfire have premiered a music video for their song “California” and you can check it out below.

For those of you not in the know Doubtfire is the brainchild of pop-punk veterans Bil Mcrackin and J Prozac of their respective long running and infamous bands; the mysterious and profilic eggheads from Vancouver, Canada, The Mcrackins and east coast pill poppin’ pop-punkers The Prozacs (Massachusetts, USA). An idea of collaborating on a couple songs quickly turned into writing and recordinga full-length album together and the rest they say is history. Across 3000 miles and international borders, both Bil and J contributed with the writing of music & lyrics, playing all instruments, and singing all the vocals together in true collaborative form. In the summer of 2013 J flew to Vancouver and spent a drunken week in Bil’s studio laying down 12 tracks of pure power-pop-punk perfection that would eventually become their hook filled self-titled debut album DOUBTFIRE! as the final icing on the cake, German artist extrordinaire Ole O’Brian was recruited for album design and illustrations thus rounding out the international theme of the project.

“California” is taken from Doubtfire’s upcoming self-titled debut album, which is due for release on September 22nd through Jerk Off Records.
