UK punk group Not Since the Accident has just released a new song available to stream. The track is entitled “Silly Billy” and is about ‘a certain musician well known for his activism’, who’s decision to support the closure of London’s Southbank skatepark has gotten him into some hot water with fans.
I visited this skatepark a couple years ago on the way to Rebellion, (photos of which can be seen here), and believe it is an important recreational space for youth. Its closure may be good for business, but it will surely be bad for culture.
The band’s latest release came last January with their “Paved With Gold” EP through Rengade Sounds.
