Mustard Plug launches kickstarter campaign to fund new album

Michigan ska-punk staples Mustard Plug have launched a Kickstarter campaign aimed to fund the recording and release of their seventh full-length album, which will be their first release since 2007’s “In Black and White.”

The band aims to raise $12,000 and plans on recording the album at bassist Rick Johnson’s Grand Rapids, Michigan recording studio Cold War Studios. Johnson will be handling production duties and Bill Stevenson, who has worked with the band many times in the past, will be mixing the record at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado.
