Nick Urlacher, bassist for the popular screamo outfit The Word Alive, has decided to call it quits. The band notes that this will not hinder any of their touring plans and have already found someone that will fill in for their upcoming tour dates. Following the tour the band will be accepting submissions as they search for a permanent replacement. You can read the statement from both the band and Nick himself here.
The band continues to tour in support of their latest release, “Deceiver”, which hit stores earlier this year.
