No new Sublime With Rome album until 2015

Yes, 2015 is still far away, but Sublime With Rome singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez has recently told Rapid City Journal that the band’s next album won’t be released until then. He explains:

“We have a studio rig with us on this tour and a designated room where we’re going to be doing pre-production for an album we plan on dropping at the top of 2015.”

Then he continued, “It’s kind of the starting stages. This tour, ironically, is going to really be the start of us all getting in a room together and writing an album from scratch. I’m excited to put these ideas into actual songs and have them recorded this summer.”

Sublime With Rome last released Yours Truly in July 2011 on Fueled By Ramen. Drummer Bud Gaugh left the band five months after its release, and was replaced by Josh Freese (The Vandals, Devo, Guns N’ Roses, A Perfect Circle, touring member of Nine Inch Nails, and session musician of The OffspringSocial DistortionSuicidal Tendencies, etc.).
