Obi Fernandez, the vocalist/songwriter for Westbound Train, will be releasing his first solo album, “Confessions, Waves and the Garden State”, on Paper + Plastick Records on August 21.
Recorded in the Hurley Studios with Eric Novod (Westbound Train) and mixed by Brian Dixon (ex-Aggrolites), “Confessions, Waves and the Garden State” is said to incorporate Fernandez’s love for soulful, smooth reggae and pop music.
Fernandez’s last release was last year’s “The Seaside Sessions,” a four-song EP of demos, on Paper + Plastick.
