Pennywise begin mastering first album in 4 years

Pennywise have posted an update on their Facebook page noting that they have begun mastering their tenth full-length studio album, which will be their first in 4 years. The band simply wrote, “Mastering the new record!”, and posted a picture from the studio. No further information has been released, but as usual, we’ll keep you posted.

After numerous false starts, Pennywise officially began recording their new album last October. Supposedly due for release this spring, the record will not only be the follow-up to 2008’s Reason to Believe, it’s also going to be the band’s first with Zoli Teglas of Ignite as the replacement of their original singer Jim Lindberg, who left the band back in 2009 and is now in The Black Pacific.
