Rancid enter studio to record full-length for 2013; Transplants, Old Firm Casuals, Devil’s Brigade releases to follow

Seminal East Bay punk band Rancid has entered the studio to record their follow-up to 2009’s “Let The Dominos Fall.”

The band aims to release the record, their 8th full-length, in early 2013. Releases by Rancid side projects Devil’s Brigade, Transplants, and Old Firm Casuals are also moving along.

A tweet from frontman Tim Armstrong confirms completion on the Transplants album:

“We are in the LAB tomorrow to get back to work mixin the new album! Finally!”
